South African Airways had been connecting Australia to Africa’s premier destinations for more than 60 years flying from across Australia to destinations in South Africa and regional Africa. SAA has recommenced service from Johannesburg to Perth in April 2024, with Interline and codeshare connections beyond Perth to all key cities in Australia & New Zealand. In 2024, SAA has celebrated its 90th Anniversary and is well on its way to rebuilding the network after scaling back operations during 2020 to 2022.
